SUP: Eating around South Florida
Share our Strength Taste of the Nation returns to Palm Beach County Wednesday.
Top chefs and restaurants from across the county will offer samples of their fare at the Kravis Center’s Cohen Pavilion in West Palm Beach.
Chef Zach Bell, of Café Boulud in Palm Beach, will be joined by: Dean James Max of 3800 Ocean in Singer Island; Darryl Moiles of Four Seasons Palm Beach; Roy Villacrusis of Kubo in North Palm Beach and Holger Struett of Chops Lobster Bar in Boca Raton.
Share Our Strength’s goal is to end childhood hunger. It supplies close to 11,000 lunches daily to Palm Beach County’s lowest income families.
Tickets are $80 before the event or $100 at the door. VIP tickets are $125 before or $150 at the door. For tickets, call 561-998-2983 or log on to strengthflorida.org, where you’ll also find the complete list of 35 participating restaurants.
The next Broward event, which has raised $2 million over 19 years, is June 2. The next Miami event, which raised $85,000 last year, is July 7.
